An AI front desk for WellnessLiving studios
Short answer: an AI front desk is worth it for the questions you answer every week, as long as it answers only from your own written policies and hands everything sensitive to a person. Start by writing those policies down. That's most of the work.
What it should answer
- What to bring, what to wear, when to arrive
- Parking and how to find the door
- Prices, intro offers and how memberships work
- How to book, cancel a booking, or freeze a membership
- What a class is like, and which one to try first
What it should never touch
- Refunds and billing disputes
- Complaints
- Injuries or health questions
- Anything legal
Those should be flagged and sent to a person, with the student told someone will get back to them.
How to set one up safely
- Write your policies down in plain language: prices, booking rules, cancellation window, waiver, what to bring, parking.
- Approve the text before anything uses it.
- Answer only from that text. If the answer isn't there, say a person will reply.
- Keep one inbox for the replies a person writes, so nothing falls between email, texts and chat.
How Studio Bolster does it
The front desk answers email, texts and website chat from the policy file you approve, and sends refunds, complaints, injuries and legal questions to a person. The studio inbox shows every message, which ones have a reply and who wrote it.

Juniper Yoga, our made-up demo studio. The messages are invented.
It works alongside WellnessLiving. Your booking and billing stay there; the front desk only answers questions about them.
