Privacy policy

This policy covers studiobolster.com and the Studio Bolster service, run by Studio Bolster LLC ("we"). It's written in plain language on purpose.

The short version

• Student data stays with the studio and WellnessLiving. Studio Bolster works with it on the studio's behalf.
• We never sell personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
• We set no advertising cookies and build no retargeting audiences.

What this website collects

The founding studio form. Your name, studio name, city, email, phone if you give it, your booking software, number of teachers and what you tell us takes your time. We use it to contact you about Studio Bolster and to decide what to build next. It's stored on our server and is not shared.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages help. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, analytics cookies are off until you accept them, and anywhere in the world a browser's Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal turns them off. You can change your choice with the "Privacy settings" link at the bottom of any page.

Spam protection. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Cloudflare sees basic information about your browser to do that.

Studio and student data in the service

When a studio uses Studio Bolster, we read its schedule, attendance, staff and booking information from its WellnessLiving account through WellnessLiving's API, so we can show teachers their classes, work out class profit and answer the studio's messages. We hold that data for the studio. The studio decides what's in it, and it stays the studio's.

• Each teacher sees only their own classes and pay. Students are shown to teachers by first name and last initial.
• Messages to the studio's front desk are answered from the studio's own policies. Messages about refunds, complaints, injuries or legal questions go to a person at the studio.
• Photos and videos teachers upload stay in the studio's library and are posted only after the studio approves them.
• Payment card details stay in WellnessLiving. Studio Bolster never sees or stores them.

When a studio stops using Studio Bolster, we can give it a copy of what we hold for it and then delete it.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run Studio Bolster: our hosting provider, our email and text providers, the AI service that drafts front desk answers, and Facebook and Instagram when a studio approves a post. Each gets only what it needs for that job.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete what we hold about you. If you're a student or teacher at a studio, you can also ask the studio, since it controls that information.

Children

This website isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date below.
